A graduate of The Art Center of Design and proficient in techniques from contemporary digital to historic photography, Whether shooting food, product, models, portraits or fine art, Thomas specializes in integrating alternative processes – very efficiently – into every image he captures. The result? One-of-a-kind, handcrafted images that are effective, memorable, affordable ... and incredibly impactful.
Nestled on 14 acres of rolling prairie just outside Lawrence, Kansas, Thomas Gibson Studio is a 7,200 square foot complex featuring three facilities – including the largest natural light studio in the country (ideal for conventional or 1800s-style wet plate photography):
Commercial: advertising, breweries, metal, product, catalog fashion, and wetplate portraits.
