This series was a project that comes around once in a lifetime. I was very fortunate to have collaborated with such a great creative friend Jeremy Ragonese (who really runs Boulevard Brewing, K.C. in my opinion!). It was luck and being in the right place at the right time, with the right eye.
This unique chapter was one of my first assignments, having moved to K.C. from L.A. We applied an uncommon process of mixing digital with wet-plate. It became a style that I would continue to explore because of its depth, contrasting with most of the work out there becoming progressively bland and singularly digital. All the set ups and scenes were major productions -- very much like the days of the record business where "concept was king". Concurrently, this was a time when the craft brewers were slowly squeezing the large beer conglomerates for a piece of the beer-drinking audience. This was a monumental project, enough that I could go into lengthy detail, but you'll probably enjoy the whimsical visuals more! Cheers!
